Storybook Sites has been my home business for about 3 years now. Before then, I had many jobs and hobbies. I designed furniture with my dad, worked as a bank teller, a receptionist, a day care woker, a christian book store clerk, and of course I was a professional clown for quite a while. I visited other churches and talked with teen groups about creative ways to share their beliefs with others. I would dress up as a clown and do numerous performances for non-profit.

I attended several Christian Colleges, including Pensacola Christian College in Florida for a short time before getting married. I studied elementary education. I do not have an professional education in web design or arts, although I have dealt with both since I was 15. In 1995, I was selected to be part of a team in my city to design a multi-panel mural, which now hangs in the High Point Theatre of Arts.

I met my husband at a park on the 4th of July and of course, I was dress up as "Annabelle". After a long while he finally worked up the nerve to come sit with me as I made balloon animals for all the gathering children. We went on our first date the very next day and have never been apart since. We will celebrate our 5 year anniversary this spring. In that time we have brought 3 beautiful children into the world.

As a web designer I also know what it feels like to be involved in developing products for sale. Recently I patented a new product for potty training. I hope to start shipments in February this year. Having gone through the very difficult process and long months of testing and development of my product, I feel I understand where each and every one of my customers come from. I am doing it too. And I'm just here to help women like myself present their online businesses in a professional and beautiful way.
